“At the moment, our task is to protect the units of the Russian troops from enemy aviation.”

“We are handling the task. The last time we worked on an unmanned aerial vehicle was a day ago, and we hit it successfully. We work 24 hours a day, trying not to let any target pass us by,” adds the anti-aircraft gunner.

The second operator of the “Buk” anti-aircraft missile system, codenamed “Major”, monitors the stable tracking of targets and adjusts the complex equipment.

“All our actions are coordinated, we all work together, complementing each other. We have learned a lot of things here,” says the soldier.

“I have been serving for a long time, but I have learned a lot here, in real actions, I have seen many things for real. We have learned to bring down different types of targets. We have brought down the ‘Look’ and ‘Uragan’ rocket launch systems. I believe the sky is locked,” adds the driver-mechanic of the “Buk” anti-aircraft missile system, codenamed “Dobryi”.
